I got to the top of Badger Mountain early this morning and noticed this strange, duct-tape wrapped package!
I was the only person on the top and the sun was just coming up and I wasn’t sure what to do. I nudged it with my foot and found it quite heavy. I turned it over with my foot and found it completely wrapped in duct tape. 
I took these pictures then I decided to leave it alone. I called the non-emergency 9-1-1 number to report it and helped the dispatcher with directions to the package. Turns out the package was gone when the Richland Police Department officer went to look! Maybe it was a weight someone was using to help with their workout? Of course, my mind created all kinds of scenarios but don’t know if we’ll ever know the real answer.
