Construction at the Dallas Road Trailhead on Badger Mountain
Construction started Wednesday, May 11 on expansion of the Skyline/Langdon trailhead parking area. Heavy machinery will be working in the area so there is no public access to the trailhead.

The trail is not closed but, the only way to get on the trail is from the Trailhead Park access which is home to the start of the Canyon and Sagebrush trails. Contractors as the site report the trailhead will, at least be closed until Friday, May 13 but maybe longer. Then, there will be at least one day of closure the week of May 15.

In addition to the parking lot improvement and expansion, crews will also be chip sealing the road from Dallas Road to the parking area which will be a big help in preventing the washboards which develop with the heavy traffic.
