It’s not the first time these ladies have been to the top of Badger Mountain.
They didn’t pick the most beautiful day to hike but they did make a commitment to each other to go hiking. They bundled up for some protection against the cold and piercing wind and hiked up the Dallas Road Skyline Trail.
I think they give us a great example of how friends can motivate each other to better health. Some of these ladies might have stayed in their warm homes if they didn’t have the good peer pressure of sisterhood to urge them on and provide some motivation.
I think we can all benefit from their life pattern. If we surround ourselves with people who will encourage us to improve ourselves, we have a much greater chance of succeeding.
Find a friend or two who would like to be healthier. Then, get them out on a hike and make it a habit.
Follow the example of the sisters, even when the weather isn’t the greatest. You can be part of the small percentage of people who are still making progress on your resolutions even past Valentine’s Day!
I love these ladies. I hope to get more out and enjoy the friendship.
Thanks for sharing with everyone! Great job!
