It was chilly, icy and there was a little leftover snow so it was a great morning to get outside and enjoy the brisk beauty of Candy Mountain! Surprisingly, it wasn’t very slick as I plodded up the trail from my parking spot. I took the usual trail and the low clouds obscured the long-distance view but it was still a great adventure.
