What a beautiful sight it is to see the green growing on Badger Mountain again this spring, especially after the fire scare of last season and the perspective of the devastating California wildfires that seem to always be burning somewhere in that state!
It was a little discouraging last year when lightning sparked a fire which burned a large patch of several acres along the Canyon Trail.

You could see the burned patch from miles away.
Now, the area which burned shows the epitome of the rebirth of spring as the land has naturally recovered from nature’s cleansing.

The burned area shows as a light patch of green with new growth vegetation. What a joy it is to witness the resilience of nature and the natural progression of destruction and the recovery mechanism which is built into this divinely created earth!
