Don’t let the cool weather keep you off the trails! Get out and get a head start on your New Year’s Resolution for better health!
All you have to do is bundle up and hike with vigor. This helps build up body heat and makes the chilly temperatures more bearable. I did this the other day on the Rattlesnake Preserve. It was cold outside (around 20 degrees F) and the fog was settled in the valleys. I was hoping to rise above the fog and get into the sunshine and I was pleasantly greeted by the suns rays along the ridgetop and above the fog! Don’t let the gray weather and fog keep you down, head up and get above it and into the sunshine!
